The accommodations are very comfortable. The staff, although they didn’t speak English, were very helpful and friendly. The hotel offers a complimentary dinner every night.

“Prima hotel maar veel getoeter”

The location is great, but you have to search a bit because the entrance is at the back of the building. The staff were very friendly, but as usual in China they didn’t speak English. Breakfast was fine with Western options. The same building houses a shopping mall with some eateries. The location itself is fine, but they honk a lot in traffic when they can’t pass. Because of the exits here you get continuous honking from 06:00 all day, even audible on the 29th. Wuhan itself is a somewhat bleak city, but the hotel can’t do anything about that.

We booked a lake view room, which had amazing views on both sides - one side looked out over the lake, and the other side had a city view. The room was really clean, and the staff even cleaned the windows, which was a nice touch. The breakfast had a lot of options, although we only had it one day. They also offered free porridge late at night, which was a nice bonus. However, the hotel's parking and signage could be improved, and it was a bit hard to get a taxi.

The view from the room was amazing, and the breakfast was really good too. The room itself was well-equipped, with a nice bathroom and smart automated features. Cleaning was spotless, I was really impressed with how tidy everything was. Overall, I'd say it was a great place to stay, everything worked well.
