The staff were friendly, and the place had a nostalgic vibe. However, the beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were tiny and not fluffy, and the view was disappointing; we were told we’d be on the restaurant side with a view of the boardwalk, but we only saw construction.

I was happy with the spot—great for travelers, parking was a breeze, check‑in was smooth, and there were plenty of restaurants close by. The building felt a bit old‑fashioned, and there was a stale or slightly mouldy smell that drifted from the hallways into my room, plus the air‑conditioners were noisy.

The staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and accommodating. We enjoyed a balcony overlooking the water and the entertainment, which was perfect for the weekend Oktoberfest since my husband is from Austria, and the rooftop pool with a hot tub was nice. Just note that you’ll have to walk a long way between the elevator, food, shops, entertainment, and some of the best rooms; physically fit people can explore a lot on foot, and there’s a wheelchair available for those who can’t walk that far.
