We stayed at the Clay House and it was a delightful experience. The place feels very cute and tranquil, and you can relax on the porch while listening to the birds. The hosts greeted us with king coconuts and served a lovely dinner that they prepared for us. They were very attentive and made us feel right at home. We also booked a safari with the host, which turned out to be a fantastic adventure. I highly recommend this spot!

The garden is great and well maintained, and the air conditioning works perfectly. The bathroom and room were extremely clean, and my breakfast preferences were accommodated. This was my best stay in Sri Lanka, and if I return it will be a must-visit again. The host was extremely nice, and the safari was memorable and ethical—no animal chasing. I felt very safe as a single woman, unlike some previous stays. The family is warm, cute, and works hard to provide the best experience.

I can’t even begin to describe how incredible our stay was with the family. The host was so nice and welcoming, ensuring we had everything we needed and going out of his way to organize trips. We booked the safari through him and his brother, which was really nice. He knew a lot about the animals and even tried to spot our favorite ones. I can only recommend coming here to experience true Sri Lankan warmth, and the dinner—oh my!—was the best we’ve had so far.

We absolutely loved our two-night stay here. Subhash and his family were incredible, and they’re the reason our stay was so good—so kind and welcoming. The full-day safari organized through them was great, and the dinner both nights was delicious. The room was comfy and the property well maintained. Subhash truly cared about making our experience great, and I would highly recommend it!
