“Great guesthouse for scuba divers, who want to experience local Maldivian life.”
We had to change our Scuba Liveaboard schedule and found a hotel at the last minute; Dive Villa One Ocean arranged a speed‑boat from Kooddoo Island to Geminafushi, about an hour away, and the owner also runs a dive center so we booked both the hotel and dives from the island. Every staff member was professional yet friendly, making the stay very good. Because the guestroom was a bit far from the city center, they offered mopeds, which was very convenient, and the distance from the center made the place very tranquil and quiet. We had a few dining options, but Blue Café was the best for local quality food. Overall, we had a wonderful time at this guesthouse. At first we had a hot‑water problem, but once we reported it the team was very attentive and fixed it quickly; it was great that we could communicate via WhatsApp for anything needed.
