“Zweckmäßig”
The location did what we needed. The rooms were clean, though somewhat cramped. The restaurant staff were very friendly. The breakfast did not convince us at all; it was only available from 8‑9 am, and there was no coffee other than Nescafé powder, even though there was a huge espresso machine in the Italian section! The restaurant behind the counter was fine, and the breakfast selection was otherwise adequate. What really annoyed us was that, in addition to the limited breakfast hours, they started clearing everything 10 minutes before 9 am and then, just before 9 am, we were already sent back from the breakfast room. That left a rather unmotivated impression. It could definitely be better.
Everything was fine, only the bed was uncomfortable.
The facilities were beautiful and comfortable, privacy was absolute, and the pizzeria opposite was excellent. I would have liked a minibar or at least coffee and tea in the room.
