The spot in Saint‑Florent is spot‑on, and the hotel even offers a garage for motorbike riders. There’s no view, but the staff make that clear. The team is very friendly and the room is decent, well‑equipped, and the air‑conditioning works flawlessly—important because I prefer to keep the windows shut to avoid mosquitoes. The building feels a bit flimsy, so everyday noises from neighboring rooms or vibrations are noticeable; for instance, just flipping the light switch in the adjacent room produces a loud bang 😂. The breakfast buffet is tiny, requiring constant restocking that creates a bit of chaos in the dining area. The food quality is great and I left full, but a wider selection would help—there’s only one type of cheese and boiled eggs, and the only vegetable offered is pickled cucumbers 😀. The coffee, however, is delicious.
