The staff were very friendly and skilled, the setting is exceptional, the air‑conditioning in the room is quiet and works well, the bathroom equipment is good except the shower head is awkward and heavy, so don’t drop it on a foot. I had a meal at the restaurant – excellent! Working on the terrace on a fine day at the end of the season is ideal. The bed is too soft, and there’s no door between the room and the entrance, so hallway noise is annoying.

The personal note and birthday attention were very nice – friendly staff – great location. The infrastructure feels a bit dated, the breakfast buffet is uninspiring and repeats the same items every day; for France one would expect good cheese, which is unfortunately missing.
