“Komfortabel und Gemütlich”

Directly at the Kasbah, the room has everything you need. Very pleasant and so far the best sleep on our trip. Everything is very clean and the staff take care of all requests. We didn't manage to use the pool because we were only there briefly, but it looked very clean and inviting. The breakfast and dinner are very touristy and lack spices. Probably to avoid allergies, but if you eat a lot of local cuisine, it’s rather disappointing.

Central location to the old town. The rooms are dark with no windows that look outside. The bedding is nasty, with blood stains. Even other rooms offered to us had the same blood spots in the linens. Dinner, we had chicken that was so hard and dried out it didn’t chew. Breakfast had a minimal selection with hard bread again. Compared to the eight other hotels we’ve stayed at where breakfast was very extensive, this was lacking. The hotel and pool are separate, so you have to walk to the pool over a construction site. At the pool, we were asked twice to move the car for the construction traffic. The restaurant was closed for renovation, so we ate by the pool. Many locals at the pool just watched; the staff were also watching instead of working, like keeping the rooms tidy.

Unfortunately disappointing. The staff were very nice and friendly and showed us the rooms. The location of the hotel is really good. Unfortunately, the condition of the beds was not acceptable for us. The bedding looked heavily yellowed and overall we didn’t feel the beds were clean enough. We couldn’t imagine sleeping there for a night, so we checked out immediately. It’s a shame because the location and friendly staff would have been a good foundation. The cleanliness of the rooms, especially the beds, needs urgent improvement in our opinion.
