The staff were really friendly and tidy, but the hot spring water was too hot, so I had to let cold water run to cool it down, meaning I couldn’t use the onsen until 1–2 hours after check‑in; in the early morning there was no cold water, so I couldn’t use the onsen the next morning. The main reason I booked was to enjoy the onsen at my convenience, but I couldn’t, which was disappointing; please turn on the cold water before check‑in to adjust the temperature and ensure it’s available even at dawn so guests can use the onsen right away.

Everything was absolutely perfect at this place: the meals, the kaiseki dinner, the staff’s kindness and professionalism, the cleanliness, and the enchanting setting; it’s a magical spot I recommend without hesitation, with no flaws and an impeccable experience.

The atmosphere was calm, but watch out for the onsen at 70 degrees that needs to be cooled for at least 20 minutes.

The place was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly. It’s within walking distance to Kinrin Lake. The private onsen water was hot in the afternoon but cold at night and early morning.

The staff were extremely friendly and courteous, immediately offering us refreshing barley tea and perfectly boiled eggs, then giving us a tour of all the room facilities. The room was spacious, spotless and featured a fantastic private bath.
