The place, the arrangement, the rooms and the view were all excellent, yet when I booked they promised a simple birthday decoration for my wedding anniversary, kept reminding me, and finally did not deliver, which really upset me.

The view was mostly good, but everything else was fine except that I forgot my wife's passport; we usually use a copy for check‑in at other hotels, but the lady at the counter refused it and even suggested I cancel the booking first, which made me angry; I had to drive back to my house in Dubai to retrieve the original passport.
