Chang Chang Hostel

Super central, located in the northern part of the old city or the Chiang Mai square, it’s very quiet, not social, has huge lockers, and the beds are comfortable and clean. It only needs a dedicated food area so you don’t have to share or invade the social space with the aroma of food. The bathrooms are adequate for what you need, but could improve a bit, like a larger shelf and a bit more organization inside.

“Ropa de cama impecablemente limpia”

The sheets and towels were spotlessly clean, and the location was great. I got to check in early and the staff helped me arrange a tour to see the elephants through the agency. The air conditioning worked all night and the staff were very friendly. Everything was excellent.

The staff were super nice. You can tell the hostel is run by women. It's clean, thought out in every detail, and everyone is incredibly kind and helpful.

“Nice place”

The hostel sits right across from Chang Phuak Market, close to a gym and a few temples within walking distance. The staff were genuinely nice, the bed was comfortable and clean, and the place felt very secure despite the many rooms. Each floor had separate toilets and showers for each gender, and free drinking water was available. The common room was also very nice. It could use a bit more cleaning, but for most people it's fine. I’m not sure if this applies to every room, but mine had shutter blinds that didn’t block any light at all, so the sun poured in and the room light was extremely dim—bring a sleep mask.
