The hotel is wonderful, everything is top‑level, and the staff are pleasant.

The double room is nice, well‑equipped, and fully functional. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. There are two restaurants in town, and the central location in the North Black Forest is convenient. The beds were a bit too soft for our taste, and it was quite warm in the summer, but the air‑conditioning units appear to be planned for the future.

The house is quiet even in the town center. On Saturday evenings, on the balcony, and at night and in the morning, there was no noise, only occasional birds in the morning. Arriving late at night was fine because of the key safe. Highly recommended for hikers. Tea, water, apples, a kettle, and plates are provided in the room so you can take care of yourself. There’s a good bakery for a cozy breakfast in town, though it’s 800 m away.
