The Coach House Denton was lovely and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings, and there was nothing you couldn’t like—the stay was just perfect.

“A real hidden gem with wonderful hosts, a beautiful room and so much care and attention to detail.”

Patrick and Jenny were wonderful hosts and made everything feel really welcoming. I stayed in the Deluxe King Room, which was huge, extremely clean, quiet and very comfortable. The bed was excellent and the shower was powerful. There were lots of thoughtful touches too, including a coffee machine, fridge, fresh milk and water, plus shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and soap. I also loved having my own access to the garden, which made the room feel very private and peaceful. Patrick gave me the choice of a breakfast hamper delivered to my room or a cooked breakfast in the conservatory. I chose the cooked breakfast and it was beautifully laid out with so much care and attention to detail. I had originally tried to book The Chequers and only found The Coach House because it was full, but I’m so glad I did. The Coach House is much better than the photos suggest. A real gem in a beautiful, quiet village and very handy for Belvoir Castle. Nothing. I genuinely couldn’t fault my stay
