I loved the aesthetic and the cozy vibe, but the staff were a supremely unprofessional bunch of young adults who offered no ice or emergency medicine when I was injured, and their lack of help felt borderline cruel and hurtful. The cafe was unreliable, sometimes open in the morning and sometimes in the evening, and there was no drinking water available. Getting to the hostel required a short uphill trek, and if you’re looking for a safe and stable environment, this isn’t the place for you.

“Not recommended”

They do have a cafe, but the place was dirty, far from town, the bed sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed in ages, the floors were dusty, and the noise from outside and the bathroom doors in front of the rooms was constant. Having stayed in three different hostels in Darjeeling, this is the worst. I’ve been waiting for a refund since I only stayed one day.

Nothing positive to mention. Drug‑addicted girls create a noisy, uncomfortable atmosphere, and some of them are nonsensical and stay for a long time, making the environment feel unsafe and keeping us awake all night.

I liked the hostel mates, but the linen was dirty and smelly, the toilets were filthy, and the rooms were poorly maintained.
