The apartment’s equipment, location near the highway exit, ample space, and nice balcony view were all great. The only downside was the presence of ants.

“Overall, it was a great stay. The street noise was the only downside; otherwise, everything was excellent.”

The apartment was very clean and well maintained. It’s conveniently close to the town centre and shops, and having a washing machine was a big plus. Everything was great except for two things: some appliances need updating, and street noise was quite noticeable. Even for someone who usually sleeps well, it was hard to rest because the apartment is surrounded by roads and the traffic is loud.

“Nice apartment with a problematic owner”

The view was really nice and the kitchen was well equipped. The apartment was clean. The owner demanded that we send our ID via WhatsApp or a strange website or else he wouldn’t hand over the keys, which is unacceptable and arrogant. The only other issue was the lack of heating in the apartment, and there’s no dedicated parking spot – you have to park on the street.

A tidy apartment with its own entrance, and parking was just a few streets away. The manager was friendly, helpful, and got back to me fairly quickly. The terrace overlooking Funchal offers a great view. Just remember the double bed is only 140 cm wide, and the frying pan could use a little better upkeep. The road below is busy, so car noise is unavoidable.
