Great location with a stunning view of the beautiful landscape, a very nice owner, large and spacious rooms, tidy breakfast with homemade cakes, a lovely swimming pool with loungers. Gubbio is reachable by car in 15 minutes, and there are plenty of parking spots right in front of the old town. We would definitely come back.

Giuseppe welcomed us, suggested a dinner spot for the first night, and cooked an excellent meal for us the next evening. The apartment was charming, the bed was very comfortable, and the heated pool was a bonus. Good breakfast and excellent value for money.

The location is gorgeous, the owner is extremely kind and helpful, and even though I only told him at the last minute that I’m vegetarian, he went out of his way to accommodate me with produce from his garden.

Abadia Farneto is a peaceful haven in the Gubbio countryside, with clean rooms, comfy beds, a heated pool that’s open most of the day, and the owner’s kitchen is a real highlight—delicious cakes at breakfast and tasty dishes at dinner.
