The place sits near the freeway, so it was a bit noisy but still bearable; the room lacked natural light, and when I brought food in, there were no utensils. I was uneasy about having to text a photo of my credit card and driver’s licence to receive the Smartlock access code—such a risky practice that would have made me book elsewhere if I’d known it beforehand. The risk of sharing personal data with an unfamiliar party is deeply concerning. The same issues apply.
