I slept well on the comfortable bed and enjoyed the lovely surroundings; the facilities were pleasant and the breakfast selection was excellent. I didn’t find anything that I really disliked, though a few furnishings might benefit from an update.

The hotel itself felt very charming, and the staff were friendly and efficient; the food was absolutely delicious.

A very friendly welcome came from the man at reception, and the restaurant food was lovely. The room was pretty dark and could use an update, but it was comfortable.

Room 12 was fantastic, with plenty of natural light and shutters available on all windows; I was exceptionally happy with it. I had a bar meal for dinner, which was also fantastic—food quality was excellent and it arrived reasonably quickly. Every staff member I met was friendly, parking was absolutely fine, and I felt I got good value for money for a very good experience. I’m just splitting hairs here, but the TV lagged a bit when I pressed buttons. Overall, my experience was still fantastic.

The views outside are nice. The bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on concrete, the hotel was generally really run down and our room was very outdated
