I am really disappointed with the price you offered. The price is very unfair. Even international hotels offer rooms for a lower price than yours. How did you decide to charge 23 dollars (3,500 birr) for this room? The room is not clean, and it is not quiet. There is a lot of noise, and it is very difficult to sleep. The owner was very helpful in every aspect of the stay, from airport transfer to arranging tours and suggesting attractions. I recommend this hotel to everyone, you definitely won’t regret it.

“Exceptional family-feel hotel with fantastic hosts”

The whole hotel team is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family and all go out of their way to make your stay perfect. Got invited twice for breakfast and dinner by the owner, Ephrem took me on a for‑free tour and dinner and is a great, very knowledgeable tour guide that always offered to help and the rest of the staff was also extremely friendly in responding to any request – I travel a lot, but the service level and effort was truly outstanding! The hotel is also well located, with beautiful views from the upper floors/balconies. I was also very happy with the room, nice bed, good, warm shower and good internet. Very good value for money and truly exceptional due to the family‑feeling atmosphere! Will definitely stay here again next time and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Axum :)

A hotel close to the city center with affordable prices. After booking, a WhatsApp introduction to tours was sent, and for my 1‑night, 2‑day stay I only requested a car to nearby sights and Bet Pantalewon (monastery). The total, including airport transfer, was US$30. The hotel has a bar but no restaurant. A nearby restaurant popular with travelers was introduced to us within about 10 minutes walking distance, and I was satisfied.

What stayed with us most was that when one of us was very sick, a staff member cared for us very thoughtfully, made honey‑rich tea and brought an extra blanket. Even before our arrival we had very nice contact with Ephrem. He picked us up at the airport, gave us suggestions and offers for tours, and left the decision to us. We chose a more compact version of the proposed city tour and a tour to Abuna Yemata Guh, which was a truly special experience.
