The location was good – we were on the beach in no time and could do a lot in the area. The facilities weren’t great; the fridge was broken all week, we had no internet so couldn’t use the TV, and the accommodation is only for two people – there were only two breakfast plates, two deep bowls, two dinner plates, etc. The kitchen was limited to the essentials.

The setting is calm and quiet, the accommodation is spacious, and the host is lovely – they really thought about us to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The room was modern and quiet on the outside, but the lighting could be improved and the stairwell and bathroom were a bit lacking.

The BnB was very tidy and pleasant, fully equipped with a kitchen and a spacious bathroom. It’s close to the church, which rings every half hour, and by the second night we were used to it. A bakery nearby offers tasty croissants and Zeeuwse bolussen. The beaches, Bruinisse and Zierikzee are within cycling distance, and the owner’s restaurant in Zierikzee, de Proeverij, is nice.
