“aceptable para pasar una noche”

The breakfast was really poor and the service was somewhat rude, probably due to lack of staff training. I noticed the waiter was the same person who opens the parking gate. I returned to the hotel after many years; it used to be my favorite and a favorite for many friends when it was Hotel Inka, but it has dropped dramatically in quality. In the morning the reception was very friendly, and Ms. Luciana called me on the phone the day before to arrange an extra bed. I’m very glad to have found my old friend Carlos Niño, who’s worked here for many years. The lack of qualified staff is a problem. We arrived around 11:30 pm and no one helped us with our luggage; there was an elderly gentleman. I really hope it improves because this hotel was an icon in Chiclayo.

The staff were friendly and the location of the hotel is great, plus the cleanliness is very good. The internal quietness and the connection to the surroundings are also nice. I have no other complaints, but the breakfast could be better – it’s too classic. Adding a slice of Dulce San Roque or something similar would give it some character and identity without raising the price; a partnership with the confectionery could solve the cost issue.

The staff were attentive. The breakfast was very basic, there was a lot of outside noise, and the room was very small.
