The room was in good shape and everything was fine, but we felt the rules and procedures for getting in and using the place were a bit much. We understand you can't eat in the room, but it was especially awkward to have to strip the sheet covers when leaving. Those chores should be the cleaning staff's job, not ours. Overall the stay was okay, but the sheer number of rules made it less comfortable.

We liked how functional the place was and its great location, plus the nice garden and the ability to leave our bikes inside. What bothered us was the lack of communication from the host. I never got a message from him the night before or that morning, even though he claimed otherwise. On the day we arrived at 18:20, exactly as the booking said, the door was locked. The host was unreachable by phone. After 40 minutes, the situation cleared up after a moralizing call from him. Ironically, at 18:53 I finally received all the details by email from the host.
