The owner introduced himself, which was nice, and they offered tea and amazing biscuits on arrival, even before you were shown your room. The evening meal was delicious, there were lovely treats in the room, and biscuits for the trip; it's a dry place, but you can bring alcohol. Stunning views and very quirky. The interior is amazing with rugs and tiles. We had a mini room, which could feel a bit claustrophobic; it's small.

The place feels like a spellbinding oasis, thanks to the gardeners who keep it lush and fresh; birds feel safe drinking from the central fountain in the patio, and everything is spotless, orderly, and beautifully arranged, furnished, and decorated.
Riad Dar Daif feels like a refreshing oasis in an otherwise not very attractive suburb of Ouarzazate. Behind the wooden front door lies a calm, nicely planted courtyard with a very authentically decorated Riad.
Breakfast was varied and hearty. The welcome was very friendly. Dinner was excellent and inexpensive.
