The hotel is straightforward and honest. We stayed for work, so a romantic weekend wasn’t the point, but it’s great for a restful sleep and the staff are friendly. The only downside is the location, which isn’t the best.

The staff were friendly, the sea views were pretty, and the room was clean, comfy with soft beds; the spot was convenient as long as you can walk uphill or take the stairs, and I loved the town centre.

The heater was on and the room felt cosy, but the tap had hot water while the shower didn’t for some reason—probably fixable if you talk to someone, but I didn’t bother then.

The place was dilapidated, outdated, and clearly needed a refurbishment. They stopped serving breakfast last year, even though they advertised it; we upgraded to deluxe and, well…the pictures speak for themselves 😔.

Everything was fine, a staff member greeted me kindly at arrival, the location was quiet with a sea view, the room was clean and tidy with an en‑suite bath and shower, and free tea and coffee were appreciated; there’s also a bar and an outside smoking/drinking area. The decor felt a bit tired, but that didn’t bother us, and the curtains could be thicker to block light, though a sleep mask solved that.
