The front desk was friendly, the terrace overlooks the water, and the neighborhood is very quiet, just a few minutes from the central train station. One room had no windows, but still received light through a large bay window; not ideal for claustrophobes.

“Carino”

The view was amazing, the owners were incredibly kind, and they even gave us a complimentary prosecco and waffles. The outdoor area with a small sofa to sit on was very nice. The only reasons I didn't give a higher score are that the listing said the house had one and a half bathrooms, but there was only one; with four people that was awkward. The description also claimed a “fully equipped kitchen,” yet it only had a microwave and no stove, which feels unacceptable in 2026. We bought groceries and had to leave everything in the fridge, wasting money. A detail worth noting is that people in the channel bring paddles and boats, and you can see them watching you while you’re in bed if you leave the curtains open. The negatives were the missing stove, the second bathroom, and the windowless second room.

Diane and Roel were very kind and welcoming. The apartment was great, well‑located, and very comfortable.

It’s a two‑room place, both with large beds, but the back room has no windows (not a big deal for us). The design and furnishings are excellent, everything is thought out. The bathroom is ample and clean. The balcony right in front of the house, overlooking the canal, is very enjoyable. The street is quiet with no noise. The train station is a 5‑minute walk away. There’s free parking for your car right in front of the house. The hosts are very attentive and friendly.
