“A magical adventure you will not forget”

The Garden Inn was absolutely gorgeous, with incredible views of the jungle and the river—truly magical. The restaurant food was homemade and they did everything they could for us. They arranged all transportation to and from Medan, jungle treks, and it was flawless. The Garden Inn feels like a bit of heaven in a truly beautiful setting, and the owner and his family are wonderful people. Thank you so much for making it such a memorable adventure! The only downside is that it’s somewhat remote, but they have excelled in that.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the location was really top. Book through Garden Inn for your jungle tour and ask for Jari and Daan as your guides; they’re truly great! You’re really in the jungle, so there are plenty of animals around. The staff were very alert, and when guests were bothered by the monkeys they helped right away.

Garden Inn has incredibly cute cabins that overlook the jungle, perfect if you’re coming for a jungle trek, which you can book directly through the hotel. There are many macaques in the village, and they also appear on your balcony, roof, and driveway. We found that absolutely delightful. The hotel also has a nice restaurant and the staff are very kind and helpful with everything. They pick you up from the parking lot and lovingly take you on and off the scooter, so you don’t have to lug your bags. We were totally in love with this place! The bed felt hard to me, but if you like that it’s a lovely bed. Towels aren’t changed during your stay, but you can always ask for a new one and they’ll give it to you right away. The same goes for toilet paper—super!

“Depaysament total en se sentant comme à la maison”

Every stay was exceptional; the rooms are superb, the staff very professional and welcoming. We were able to speak French with the owner, who is helpful and very kind. They arranged our various trips and listened to our needs. Nothing to add.
