The location was close to the central Napoli station/ Garibaldi. The building was very old and had a moldy odor, the rooms were noisy—every movement in one room could be heard in the others, including the shower—and the host was not visible; when I asked for an extra pillow or the receipt with the IBAN to pay the tourist tax, there was no response.

I stayed in a very clean, comfortable room and it was close to the train and bus stations, with the harbor just a walk away for ferry rides. The only drawback was the stairs, which can be a problem if you have arthritis or a heart condition.

The place was very good to stay, but you can hear the people in the other rooms really well, so if you’re a light sleeper it might be an issue; for us it was fine.
