We spent one night at Vista Lago Como. The room was clean and quiet, but the beds left something to be desired—more like recliners with a foam layer. The balcony view is hard to beat. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good in a bright, nice room. The beds were very uncomfortable.

The staff, especially Chiara, were friendly and the room offered an unbeatable view of Como; the funicular to the center of Como was nearby, and restaurants were close by. The village of Brunate itself is worth exploring. The hot water in the shower was temperamental.

It’s simply a genuine Italian Albergo. The drive from Como is quite odd, and parking spots are scarce.

The views were great, parking service worked well, and breakfast was good. However, the room was noisy, both from the bathroom extractor and the mini fridge.
