The Riad was beautifully decorated with a lot of charm, very clean, and well sound‑proofed despite being close to the Medina. The bedding was comfortable, the room was well arranged and spacious. It sits right in the heart of the Medina, Bab Boujloud is 7 minutes away, and the Ain Azleten parking is 5 minutes away (40 Dh for 24 h). Fayssal was readily available and friendly, although sometimes a bit reserved. The downside was that you can’t have breakfast on the rooftop terrace, which is a real shame because that’s what makes a Riad special; everything needed to set up is there, yet it’s not offered, so I was very disappointed. The breakfast itself wasn’t exceptional, lacking variety (tea, m'semem, bread, jam, butter). The breakfast hours were very restrictive, 9 h to 10 h, and there was no flexibility, which is frustrating if you want to leave early for exploration. There is a take‑away option, but I wouldn’t recommend it. No toiletries were provided except for a small amount of soap for hands. The shower water pressure was weak.
