I didn’t like that my door was right next to the reception, so we could hear everything. The hotel is still pretty far from the city centre if you want to walk. Otherwise, the surroundings and the setting are very pretty.

“Bergame vaut le voyage”

The location is convenient for heading to the Cité Haute, and the roof‑top restaurant is nice. The lack of a refrigerator was a problem, and a receptionist asked me to pay at checkout without showing me the bill; when I asked, he offered no apology and simply complied without a word.

“A beautiful, peaceful setting unfortunately disrupted by a loud private event.”

The hotel sits on a lush green mountainside with serene views that make it feel like a relaxing retreat. During our stay, a private baptism celebration with extremely loud dance music took place for most of the day, throwing off the peaceful vibe we’d expected; we weren’t told about the event beforehand and received no compensation. That was especially disappointing given the tranquil setting.

“Beautiful but far.”

The room was small but clean and had everything we needed; the view was great and the on‑site pool and restaurant were big bonuses. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I misjudged how hard it would be to reach the hotel after reading other reviews. We’re a healthy couple in our 20s, and the walk up to the hotel with luggage was brutal. There are no taxis or other options besides walking up 30 minutes of steep steps. I wouldn’t stay here again without renting a car. The hotel hosts events, which sometimes makes common areas inaccessible for guests for long periods.

Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen, Top Lage und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Vielen Dank an alle Mitarbeiter des Hauses!. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln!
