I got a complimentary room upgrade, and the room sits right in the middle of the jungle. It’s clean and fully equipped. Breakfast is simple but good, and the owners are friendly. The location is on the edge of the village, so you really need your own car.

Wonderful, kind hosts who were very attentive and helpful with local recommendations. The host upgraded us to a balcony room free of charge. We saw plenty of wildlife, a group of monkeys hanging around the property. Conveniently located near town, a short walk to local restaurants. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

A clear view of the forest from the small balcony and also the communal balcony is great. I slept especially well there. Because the host noticed our keen interest in wildlife, he showed us some "little things" in the garden and adjacent forest that we would never have discovered otherwise. Simple breakfast was good and the view of the Pacific was wonderful.

The overnight stay was fine. Unfortunately the weather was bad and then you have nothing to do here.
