I stayed at **Chinta Haran Rest House** on **5 July** while visiting Baba Baidyanath, and it turned out to be the best value after comparing many options; the room rates were very fair. The staff were kind and helpful, and even after my checkout time they let me linger without rushing me. I’d been back from the temple exhausted, hadn’t eaten, and they let me stay an extra 4–5 hours to rest, which I appreciated. The room was tidy and comfortable, with a good bed, working fan and cooler, and all the basics were present. The setting is lovely and convenient for pilgrims heading to Baba Baidyanath Temple, so overall it was a great experience and worth the money. Thanks, **Chinta Haran Rest House**, for the hospitality and I’d recommend it to anyone coming to Deoghar. On the downside, the bathroom floor stayed wet and there was no mat or cloth outside the washroom for drying feet. Water was sometimes limited, so a steady supply in the room would help. The room could use a bit of renovation and better upkeep; while it was acceptable, cleaner and better maintained rooms would improve the stay for future guests.
