“Very friendly and accommodating host, well looked after neat room, and great location”

The outbuilding room was spotless and tidy, with plenty of light and a comfortable desk for working an afternoon, which was great; everything had been well taken care of.

“Ha fel”

Good breakfast, friendly staff, a few pillowcases and towels were torn, but in return it was very clean. It desperately needs renovation, literally everything. The street‑front room is terribly noisy, the mattress is like a trash can.

Andrew gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived, and his communication was excellent; he told me everything I needed to know about the property and my room. We stayed two nights in one of their cottage rooms, which was clean, tidy, warm and comfortable, and had a great shower. Breakfast was lovely, served by a very pleasant young lady (I didn’t catch her name, sorry). I would definitely recommend this place; thank you for a lovely stay 👍🏻

“Great place!”

Great place! We needed a place to stay for one night and it had everything we ever needed—clean, tidy, and close to the location we wanted. If we ever return to Darlington, we’ll definitely stay here again. Nothing to say, everything was great.
