The detail work was impressive and the room was very comfortable; the ceiling fan was awesome.
Clean, tidy, and quiet, but the aircon didn’t work well; cleaning the filters in the indoor unit (which were totally blocked) made a big difference.
“Modern but small studio”
Alex and Tim were great at keeping me in the loop even though the email system broke for both of us. The studio sits in a newer subdivision and comes with a solid shower head, a decent fan and A/C, plenty of outlets, fast internet, and free parking. Tim even handed us some freshly caught fish, which was a real treat! The outdoor seating area is nice, with an umbrella and plenty of windows for airflow. The place isn’t as close to the beach as I’d liked, but the beaches nearby are lovely and within a short drive. The studio is tiny—there’s no kitchenette, so no sink for dishes; the Nepresso machine, kettle, and microwave are tucked into a closet. Because of the size, two large suitcases don’t fit comfortably, especially without luggage racks. The walk to the studio is littered with large stones and gravel, making it impossible to roll suitcases in.
“Recommended stay for exploring the Coromandel”
It was peaceful, quiet, and comfortable with a great location and beautiful surroundings, but the kitchen facilities could be better thought out in my opinion, though that didn’t change my overall rating.
“Good stop over”
Very modern, well furnished, with a comfortable bed and very clean; it was a shame we didn’t see the host, a quick hello would have been nice.
