“For the price I paid it was good value . The sweetness of the staff made up for the down floors”

The room and bathroom were spacious and right beside the pool, and the breakfast was beautiful while the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. My mattress was old and squishy, so I had to flip it to be more comfortable; over the week I only had the room cleaned twice and had to ask for fresh towels.

The place is perfectly located on a quiet street yet walkable to everything. I slept well, the women were really nice, and they run a bakery so breakfast is the bread they make, which is delicious. The pool is great; I floated there at night and saw a shooting star—a beautiful experience.

“Nice”

The location is very quiet yet a short walk to restaurants and the beachfront; Ayu is an excellent host. Honestly, you can’t complain about the price paid: a comfy double bed, air‑con, quiet place, good Wi‑Fi, a small fridge in the room, free towels, and coffee, bread, and eggs for breakfast. What else do you need? There is no hot water and no soap, but you can buy a shampoo sachet for 1000 rupias outside and the problem is solved.

“Chambre agréable”

The staff are adorable and the breakfast is very good with homemade bread, jam, two eggs, and tea or coffee. The room is clean and spacious. There is no hot water in the shower and the pool is poorly maintained.
