I booked the suite, but we ended up with basically two rooms instead; the comfort was excellent, and even though it was just one night (we were moving), it was the perfect way to unwind before the chaos the next day. The keys kept malfunctioning, and each time I asked for help I felt like a nuisance, but the issue was eventually fixed and we carried on with our evening.

Available amenities. Room had no AC and the portable unit was not able to keep up with 95+ degree temperatures outside

It could have been a good stay, but the AC was broken and with temperatures in the 90s it was quite uncomfortable. The pool was as described, and the room was well equipped with a working kitchen and a washer/dryer unit.

The authenticity and location were appealing, and the place had a nice character. Cleaning in the hallways and elevators could improve; the elevators felt a bit unwelcoming. Check‑in took 25 minutes—very slow—and there was only one receptionist. Other staff were present but seemed to be chilling on the side and philosophizing instead of helping their colleague.
