“Relax en Rivera Sacra”
The room was exceptional – very spacious with plenty of light, a walk‑in wardrobe, and tasteful décor; the bed was super comfortable. Don’t miss David’s breakfasts, which he prepares with great care and are very complete. The house is in a very quiet area, ideal for disconnecting and relaxing, and for walking or cycling amid lush nature. David is a delight and made us feel at home. A place I would definitely return to.

We felt right at home in the stone farmhouse, full of charm and set in an ideal spot to unwind. The pool was a bonus, especially on sunny days. Breakfast was very complete, worth booking just for that. David is a delight, attentive and friendly, making us feel at home from the start. And his dogs are incredibly affectionate and part of the place’s charm. We were so comfortable that it felt a bit sad to leave, which says a lot about the spot. We’re leaving very happy with the experience and would love to return. Thanks for everything, David! There’s absolutely nothing negative to mention.

The house isn’t in Boborás itself but a bit northeast in the small village of Fondo de Vila, which was perfect for us: about a five‑minute drive to O Carballiño, where you can find everything you need. David, the host, deserves special mention; he’s fantastic and leaves no wish unfulfilled. Whatever you need or any question you have, David takes care of it and tries to make it happen. The house is on a very quiet side street, typical Spanish, and surprisingly spacious. We booked both rooms on the lower floor and were really impressed. Everything has a lot of charm and you feel comfortable quickly. A real highlight for us was the lovely pool – during the heat it personally saved my life several times. 😄 All in all, we had a great time there. If you’re looking for a quiet place with a typical Spanish vibe but still close to O Carballiño, this is the spot. When we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely stay here again. Strong recommendation! What I personally missed when temperatures hit around 40 °C was a room air conditioner. Luckily we had rooms on the lower floor, which made it noticeably more pleasant for me, and still bearable. That’s really a matter of taste – my wife didn’t find it too hot at all.
