“Perfect”
I booked last minute because another reservation fell through, and I was blown away by the quality of everything. The room was spotless, the staff were extremely friendly, and the restaurant was top‑class with a wide variety of dishes.
We had a lovely stay; the room was comfortable, breakfast and evening meals were delicious, and the staff went above and beyond for us.

Efficient checkin. Comfortable bed. Great good in restaurant. Heaters in room worked well. Very clean. I phoned the hotel twice to ask a question but no reply. The staff at the hotel informed me that the reception is not manned until 2pm, which is not helpful for customers
“Home away from home”
It's like home away from home. I have used the hotel before and I will use it as long as I am in Thurso. The staff is like my family and the food is always tip top
The evening meals were amazing, especially the cheesecake, which was the best I'd ever had. The location and parking were convenient, and the staff were very good from check‑in through dinner. My window didn’t close properly and faced the roadside, but it was easily fixable; I hope the breakfast was average, but nobody was available to suggest options or explain the window issue at checkout.
