Everything was good: the food, the space, the polite staff, even the little dog named Suzy. The road to the lodge was a rough dirt road. Avoid the route from Petrópolis; instead take the road from Miguel Pereira. It’s also dirt, but it’s not as bad as the Petrópolis road.

The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the chef is a wonderful person, but the location is not ideal.

A beautiful spot amid the mountains, with attentive and helpful staff, yet the access is only via rough dirt roads that are only passable in a 4x4 and only when it hasn't rained heavily.

This pousada is an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful escape from the city, surrounded by nature and offering a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. However, the dirt road leading to the pousada posed a minor inconvenience.
