Located in Springdale, Utah, the Driftwood Lodge is just under 2 miles from Zion National Park's entrance. This hotel features a seasonal outdoor pool, hot tub, and picnic area, with access to the Virgin River. Guest rooms include flat-screen satellite TVs, coffee-making facilities, microwaves, and small refrigerators. A park shuttle stops in front of the Lodge during summer, offering easy access to Zion's hiking, biking, tubing, and horseback riding trails.

The lodge’s location made shuttle access easy and the breakfast was very good value, yet the room smelled like cheap deodorizer, the air conditioner was loud and rattled, and the enamel on the toilet, tub, and sink drain was chipped.

Access to Zion was great, the room was spacious with a nice balcony and view, but the beds were uncomfortable, paying for breakfast vouchers and parking on top of a $400+ nightly rate felt petty, and the room was noisy with upstairs neighbors sounding like elephants.

The shuttle location was convenient, the room was comfortable, the grounds were pretty and clean, and the view from the back was lovely.
