The cabin on the lake was lovely and exactly as the pictures showed; it was warm when we arrived, the owners gave clear instructions on how to find it, and the hot water was great, it was quiet and felt homely.

The stay was good, but the bathroom smelled quite musty and all the towels smelled damp, which could be improved, and I woke up to adorable sheep and a very friendly dog.

Most comfortable beds we stayed in during our stay! Loved the comforters and the thickness of the pillows. Out of our 4 stays, we slept the best at this location. LOVED the views! Such a pretty location with horses, sheep and the lake all right there! We even did the short hike up the mountain right there. We felt safe and enjoyed our stay in Iceland here. We loved the pillows. Just wish there was two per person. And while we didn't have an issue with it at all, I can imagine that if you were slightly more plus sized the size of the shower could be an issue
