The lodge sits quietly between the lagoon and the sea. We four had a large, spacious room with separate sleeping areas and a beautiful big balcony. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The staff at the restaurant in the evenings and at breakfast were very friendly and attentive. The hotel felt cozy, the pool was great for the kids, but the sauna area could be bigger.

Breakfast was very good, there were many facilities outside the room (bar, library, billiard room), and the dining was good. A small fridge and kettle in the room would be nice, and an outdoor shower for the sauna would be helpful.

The property is very well maintained, breakfast is superb. We brought our dog, took it to breakfast in a separate room, which was perfect. The location is top, very quiet with a wonderful view of the Achterwasser.
