Aspen Lodge Backpackers

“Clean, convenient and a great location for exploring Queenstown.”

The location was very convenient, just about a 10‑minute walk to FreshChoice supermarket and also around 10 minutes to the town centre, restaurants and shops. The room and facilities were clean and well maintained. Nothing major was wrong. The accommodation is fairly basic, but it was clean, comfortable and good value for the location.

I loved that it was so close to town, within walking distance of pretty much everything. The parking was a bit difficult because the space had a weird shape.

The location was exceptional. It would have been nice to have a heater at night and a fan to make the room less stuffy.

“Great location and comfortable beds, but a few things could be improved”

I liked the location and the beds were comfortable enough, with decent space to store stuff. The shower was a major disappointment—there was absolutely no water pressure when using hot water, although the pressure was fine with cold water. A cold shower isn’t practical in Queenstown in September! I was the only female in a six‑bed dorm, and there were no hooks in the bathroom, making changing difficult because there was nowhere to hang or place clothes. The bathroom is the only practical place to change unless you’re comfortable doing so in front of other guests. The lockers provide good storage, but it would be helpful to have shelving or extra storage space in the room, especially for guests in the top bunks, as it’s hard to reach belongings from the bed. Curtains on the bunk beds would also give a bit more privacy in a shared six‑bed dorm.

“慣れれば宿泊可能。”

部屋がとても臭くて、お風呂の清潔感もなかった。お湯の出る量も少なく、寒い時期に行くのはオススメ出来ません。
