“It's OK”
The property is in a quiet area; the air conditioning kept us comfortable during 30°C nights. Breakfast with coffee was included, and some public transport was nearby. The room was spacious, with access to a common terrace and 24/7 check‑in. A hair dryer and iron were available if needed, and a common fridge and mini‑kitchen were provided. The host was very welcoming. However, the description made it seem like a hotel, but it is actually a B&B with separate rooms, private bathrooms, and a common breakfast area with a kitchen. I was charged 20 EUR more than the reservation for tourist tax; the owner said it wasn’t updated and it is 6 EUR, not 3.50 EUR per person per night, and I didn’t get a response. The breakfast was not homemade as stated on the website, only packed sweets, nothing salty. A large part of the plaster on one wall was missing due to water damage, and laminate flooring looked like it needed replacement for the same reason. Room cleaning is paid if you need it. For 4 nights and two of us there was a bit of liquid soap and one tiny pack of shampoo and shower gel; we had our own luckily. The bed mattress was a bit hard but acceptable. Public transport nearby is not very convenient if you want to visit Rome’s historical center and is very unreliable, though that is not a fault of the property. Just so you know, don’t rely on it for time‑critical planning.
