The hotel sits right next to the main street but tucked at the end of a small cul‑de‑sac, keeping it away from noise and very quiet. We were allowed to come for an early lunch before heading to Machu Picchu. The bed was comfortable and we had a good night. No complaints.

The staff were extremely friendly. The hotel offers a viewpoint that could be better promoted. The room was nice, and it’s a great starting point for hikes to the Canyon. The price was a bit high compared to other places on our trip, and the restaurant food was average but fairly priced.

The staff were incredibly attentive and helped us through a severe altitude sickness issue, arranging a doctor and oxygen.

A rustic three‑star hotel with plenty of amenities, we slept very well for two nights; it offers laundry, secure private parking, and a restaurant. Built of stone, it feels like an alpine lodge with small towers giving panoramic views. The staff are very friendly and kind, the food is good, and the warm blankets help you sleep well. Even in July we didn’t feel too cold because the building is well insulated. Hot water and towels are provided, and they light the wood‑burning stove in the common area, so I didn’t miss central heating at all. We ate well and everything is convenient. The village of Cabanaconde is the best equipped of those we saw in the valley, compared to Pinchollo and Huambo. The property is truly an oasis of peace in a valley that can otherwise be harsh and rugged. The Condor Viewpoint (Mirador del Cóndor)—where you can spot the birds between 8:00 and 10:00 AM—is located 15 km away. Thanks to the whole staff! It was a pleasure staying with you! The electrical outlets could use improvement.
