There were several bathrooms, which I appreciated since I shared the space with Polish construction workers, and the second‑floor bathroom was especially useful. The first‑floor turquoise room was great for work, had good and stable Wi‑Fi, and a beautiful wooden table. The kitchen was well equipped, and the staff were flexible about my checkout time. On the downside, communication was patchy or nonexistent in some areas, such as the number of occupied rooms, and the table lights in the room only started working after I moved the cables several times.

The house was well maintained, with a lovely terrazzo floor in the entrance area. Someone checks the common areas daily, and everything was clean. However, the house is actually non‑smoking, yet there is a large stand‑up ashtray right in front of the door, and the smoke drifts all the way into the kitchen and common areas, making it very noisy. The Monday teams living there have to wake up as early as 5:30 am.

“TuaCasa, Hessisch Oldendorf, Gästehaus”

It was a short stay for me. The BDH rehab clinic for stroke patients is only 1000 m away, which was perfect. The house is set up like a shared flat: you can cook, eat together, and watch TV (the TV has internet access via Pay‑TV). The rooms are simple but practical. The maintenance and upkeep of the house need improvement. Problems included two faulty table lamps in the multipurpose room, a warped front door with incorrectly installed hinges, a garden gate that doesn’t open fully, a kitchen window overgrown with vines, all bathroom aerators were calcified, the shower drain was clogged, trash in the laundry room, broken window blinds in the loft, a broken handle on a large pot, a Bomann fridge showing a power supply error (only partial operation, no lighting, but the LED strip works), drawer fronts broken from the dowels in the multipurpose room, the oven sensor field could no longer be programmed due to a defect, and the bathtub was installed upside down in the bathroom under the roof (the overflow was on the wrong side of the drain, on the actual back side of the mixing valve…100 %). Not dramatic, but definitely not meeting the advertised premium standard.
