The chef and staff were incredibly friendly and helped me out after a rough ride in 5 °C sleet, even getting me set up in the cellar. The dinner restaurant was lovely and the new bungalow looked great. The only downside was that it’s pretty far from town—only reachable by car—and I couldn’t get the heating on, maybe it wasn’t there or I messed up.

The garden was charming and close to the hiking spots, but the bed was a bit uncomfortable and breakfast was just average. It felt pricey compared to other places for what you get.

The view is amazing, and the rooms and the garden are as beautiful as the pictures in. It is a bit far, the staff didn’t know much English but they did their best to make us feel welcome
