“The stay was very pleasant.”

The room was cheap, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was good, but one night the smell—like insect‑treatment chemical—was unbearable, and the construction outside the hotel was a nuisance.

The location was good, except for the construction, which I understand is out of their control; however, based on some online photos, I expected waffles at breakfast.

“Spend the money somewhere else”

It was the perfect distance from the airport, yet the hotel overall looked very unkempt: curtains were turned, the sofa was dirty, the hallway carpet was filthy, and a dank smell lingered everywhere.
