Everything was peaceful and quiet, and the hosts made you feel at home; I’d highly recommend it.

The silence and views were great, and the bed was comfortable. The access was over 4 km, with steep, uneven, curvy roads that were only as wide as a vehicle, making it feel very remote. The bathroom had a bathtub with a plastic curtain and the towels looked bad. Dinner was a mystery – you couldn’t choose what you’d eat. It’s a place for people who really value rustic charm.

Everything. The Canal is a small paradise hard to find and run by two wonderful people, David and Lourdes, who make you feel better than at home. Peace, tranquility, attentive service, good food, and love in everything they do. We were a group of eight friends, four couples, and we all left delighted, eager to come back. Thank you both. Nothing else, except the final stretch to the Masia – the last few kilometres can feel tough at first, but quickly become friendly, as David says, otherwise the Canal wouldn’t be what it is. David, Lourdes, you live in paradise. Thanks for sharing a few days with us.
