The place was spotlessly clean, quiet, and larger than we expected; the beds and pillows were very comfortable, but we were disappointed to see the couple in the pod opposite ours leave their dog unattended for over an hour, causing distress, and they were also smoking inside the pod, which was disheartening for a smoker and dog owner who follows accommodation policies to the letter.

We arrived feeling utterly annoyed by the disorganization and false claims on the site. We had booked assuming our room had a private hot tub, but it didn’t. The website even says guests without a private tub can use the spa’s hot tub for free, yet staff charged us extra to use it, which feels dishonest. The “garden view” room was a joke—just a patch of overgrown weeds, nothing like the description. The biggest issue was at check‑in: the front desk gave us a key to a room already occupied; we caught it before walking in. That administrative blunder could have embarrassed us and other guests and shattered our trust in the management’s care. Save your money and book somewhere that actually delivers what it advertises.

The spa was great and very relaxing. The grounds and views are stunning and very relaxing and the location is excellent. The accommodation wasn’t set up for the four of us, so we had to ask staff several times for items that should have been there, like bedding for the sofa bed and extra towels. The sofa bed mattress was about 2 inches thin and extremely uncomfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities even though it was advertised, and when we asked for milk they said we don’t provide it. There was also no soap in the bathroom.
